What Caboolture Drivers Says

Dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready before lunch. They fixed an annoying noise, serviced my car, and replaced the CV shaft on another visit. Reliable, honest, and they genuinely care about safety. You can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend

I can’t thank Garry’s Mechanical enough. The day before Christmas Eve my van broke down, and I desperately needed it for the days ahead. They took on the job straight away and told me they always stay open for a couple of hours on Christmas Eve without bookings, just in case someone breaks down. That level of kindness honestly meant the world to me because this year, that someone was me.
I had my van back the very next day. They were super honest throughout and even called me before doing the work to talk through the costs. What started as a small job turned into a longer one, and they still stayed back to get it finished.
I’m incredibly grateful for such kind, genuine people and great workmanship. Couldn’t recommend Garry’s Mechanical more highly.

I would recommend and definitely, I'll come back again. Thanks team. Fah

Why You Need a Roadworthy Certificate ?
In Queensland, a Roadworthy or Safety Certificate is required when:
You’re selling a registered vehicle.
You’re transferring ownership to another person.
You’re re-registering an unregistered car.
You’re changing registration from another state.
Without a current RWC, you cannot legally complete the sale or transfer. Our qualified inspectors make sure your car meets all the requirements set by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
What’s Checked During a Roadworthy Inspection
Our comprehensive inspection covers all safety-critical components as per Queensland’s official guidelines.
Here’s what we look at when issuing your RWC in Caboolture:
- Brakes & brake lines – condition, performance & fluid
- Steering & suspension – secure, aligned, and functional
- Wheels & tyres – tread depth, pressure, and condition
- Lights & electrical systems – headlights, brake, and indicator lamps
- Windows & windscreen – no cracks or unsafe damage
- Seats & seatbelts – securely mounted, working, and untorn
- Body & chassis – no rust or damage affecting structural safety
- Exhaust system – no excessive noise or leaks
- Oil & fluid leaks – none beyond acceptable limits
- And many more manufacturer-specific checks
Once your vehicle passes, you’ll receive a TMR-approved electronic certificate — valid for 2 months or 2000 km (whichever comes first).
